- For those of you with newer computers that would prefer to try a software fix before a hardware fix attempt, try Terry's registry edit suggestions.
- I am unable to start windows in safe mode, that's not an option.

I believe it is likely that just burning the CD at a lower speed will reduce the errors on the disk and make it easier to read on other CD-ROM drives.
