I still have the problem of my antivirus program, OneLive, not starting up right away though just as it did before. Windows Vista Very Slow To Respond Most computer people will tell you that in order to enjoy the speed of Vista, you need 2-3Gb of RAM. If you interrupt shutdowns it just causes more hassles.
- How was the shutdown issue resolved?
- My system works fine in Safe Mode and starts quickly.
- It's only 4 months old and had no problems until recently.

Of course you have to have a converter for AVI and WMV files from Microsoft -- but, that's a nice chanllenge for you to learn with. sou yo are wasting valuable disk space! Also hard drives have I/O speeds much slower than RAM, so unless you have an SSD you wont see that much of a difference. What else???
