- Since no audio AVR is connected to the HDMI port (only my LG HDTV is connected to the HDMI port), the Control Panel shows HDMI audio as 'not connected'.

Its been working before and im not do any big changes to my computer. The issue was: Win7 did not install, or carry over the correct driver for my Nvedia graphics card. I had to replace my NVIDIA graphics card with an ATI graphics card a few months ago, so that could be a factor here as well. I ended up having to do a system restore back to a time when it was working.
Maybe you're missing the codecs? To me, that would seem to imply a different problem. I've experienced this issue with an Intel g45 with on board video, an ATI 5670, and now an Intel I3. All code on here is free, but as a consequence it's up to you to check it, ha! Any ides?
