Windows Media Player Audio Problems Static
Ubuntu obviously got it right so it might be something in the background, grabbing a couple extra machine cycles. HERE IS THE KICKER!! forget a user name or password. "the remote device or resource won't accept the connection"? All the disks that I have tried work fine in ordinary, stand-alone DVD players as well as other computers' DVD drives.

only problem is with WMP 10..
